During my search for the right person to do my SMP, I found that many places were overpriced, under-informed and just in a rush to get my money without addressing my questions or concerns. I’ve wanted to do SMP about four years ago and went on a few consultation but never felt comfortable enough to continue the process so I ended up giving up. I can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner!!! Erik was amazing, if you considering micropigmentation, he is your guy. He was very knowledgeable and expert when it comes to this procedure. I first visited Ahead Ink in July of 2019. I had been researching micropigmentation services since 2018. I visited some locations in NYC but wasn’t fully sold on whether I wanted to get it done. Then I visited Erik last year. It was a pleasure meeting someone so honest from the very beginning. He let me know the truth about the process. I left feeling much better. But I didn’t actually convince myself to get it done until this year. And I cannot even begin to express how pleased I am with the results! Erik is a true artist with the utmost professionalism. He was patient, he worked with me until I was pleased with the hairline. And then he performed the procedure flawlessly. His office is pristine and almost Zen-like in its calming vibe. Are there other locations one can get this procedure done? Of course. But I have visited several of them and NONE compare with Erik at Ahead Ink. If you’re considering getting this procedure done, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t visit Ahead Ink. You will not be disappointed!

My experience with Eric was amazing..At first I was skeptical about the procedure and the results but Eric put those thoughts to a rest . The price is great considering he is the only one that does the procedure.. I went to another Micropigmentation business and I had the only option to work with one of there new tech which I declined..why would I risk getting a life changing procedure done with someone farely new for a high price.. I researched Eric work and was convinced that his work is one of the best. I would recommend Eric to anyone..Also his facility has parking.. Thanks Again Eric

Erik is a great individual and I felt like I knew him for years almost as if we hung out back in the day with all stories we spoke about…lol…as far as our sessions he definitely made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job on my micropigmentation. At first, my intentions were to only get SMP into my scar but after witnessing some of Erik’s work I decided to get the full head SMP. And I must say I absolutely LOVE the difference it has made – and only after 2 passes. I’ll be going for the 3rd pass in about a month. Erik’s skills are tremendous. Echoing my brothers review below, Myself and my father travelled out with my brother for the procedure and i cannot recommend the procedure ,and Erik himself, highly enough.

I was the one who found Erik after doing some research online via various recommendations and hairloss forums and i could just see Eriks work, precision and care to attention stood out above everyone else i came across.

I just wanted to review my experience at Ahead Ink, Eric is Amazing at what he does. I’ve been dealing with hair loss and hair transplants for over 20 years. And after 10 hair transplants I still wasn’t happy, my hair was still thin and hard too manage and my scars were horrible. When I came across Eric at Ahead Ink I was like Wow this might be the answer I am looking for to solve my problems. I booked my consultation with Eric, we came up with a plan that was good for me. Being that we were dealing with so much scarring from prior surgeries. After we got threw the second passing I was so happy and I loved my new buzzed look. 3 weeks later I had my final session and was so amazed how this changed my whole appearance. I would definitely recommend for anyone considering SMP to do their research to help choose a credible technician. I met with Erik for a consultation. After speaking with me and knowing what I was looking for, he did not recommend micropigmentation for me at this time. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. He took his time and gave me other options. He also recommended some doctors that may be helpful. He did not pressure me to work with him. To say that I am pleased and satisfied with my result would be an understatement. Erik truly puts his clients above all else. He is patient and conscientious, and does everything possible to ensure comfort and satisfaction. The procedure was a breeze for me. I was completely comfortable throughout, and felt little to no pain (I think I even came close to dozing off at one point). While I was expecting each procedure to take as much as 4 or 5 hours, it only took about half that because I didn’t need any breaks. However, Erik explained that my experience was somewhat unusual, and that I must have a high tolerance for pain.

In the end, I’m so glad I found Ahead Ink, and finally took the plunge and got SMP. The result is truly remarkable. I feel a level of confidence now that I haven’t felt for a long time. I cannot recommend Ahead Ink more highly.

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far one of the best decisions I’ve made thus far was coming to Erik for the SMP procedure. To start off, I was in contact with Erik for many months before finally making the decision to come in and go for it. Erik truly goes out of his way to explain every little detail necessary regarding the procedure and answers any questions you may have in mind along the way. Three things that I can EASILY highlight about Erick was his professionalism, knowledge, and transparency. You Immediately felt comfortable from the very moment you walked in to the moment you walked out. After finishing the session he provides you with great information on aftercare products, the healing process overall, and what to expect in terms of results. Was pretty apprehensive about getting the procedure done, but Erik answered all of my questions leading up to and during the appointment. During the procedure, Erik was really personable and accommodating to my poor tolerance for the pain.
