Patient Case Study - Overview

This client came to us for scalp micropigmentation (SMP) with a very specific goal: completely restore the appearance of his original hairline while maintaining a natural, realistic look.
Fortunately, he still had remnants of his previous hairline visible on the scalp. These subtle traces provided valuable reference points for determining the original shape, positioning, and character of his hairline.
Rather than creating a generic hairline, we used the existing traces as a roadmap. The goal was to rebuild what was naturally there, including the small irregularities that make a hairline look authentic.

Procedure Details

We re-created his:

  • Natural hairline shape
  • Jagged, irregular edges
  • Natural recession and transitions
  • Progressive density behind the hairline
  • Slight widow’s peak

These details were essential. A perfectly straight or symmetrical hairline would have looked artificial, so we preserved the subtle imperfections of a real hairline.

The Results

Once the hairline was established, we continued the treatment across the scalp, gradually building full, consistent density from the front all the way through the crown.
The placement and density were carefully balanced so that the reconstructed hairline transitioned naturally into the fuller appearance of the scalp.
